llapi\_layout\_stripe\_size\_get, llapi\_layout\_stripe\_size\_set - get or set the stripe size of a Lustre file

# [DESCRIPTION](#DESCRIPTION)

The stripe size indicates how much data to write to one OST before moving to the next OST.

**llapi\_layout\_stripe\_size\_get()** stores into *stripe\_size* the stripe size of *layout*.

**llapi\_layout\_stripe\_size\_set()** sets the stripe size of *layout* to *stripe\_size*.

A *stripe\_size* value of **LLAPI\_LAYOUT\_DEFAULT** means that the default stripe size will be used.

**llapi\_layout\_stripe\_size\_get()** and **llapi\_layout\_stripe\_size\_set()** return 0 on success, or -1 if an error occurred (in which case, errno is set appropriately).
