Program stap-report sbírá systémové informace, které mohou být užitečné při odhalování chyb v systemtapu. Výstup tohoto programu je vhodné přiložit k hlášení o chybě systemtapu, zejména pokud posíláte hlášení přímo "upstream" vývojářské komunitě. Program stap-report může spustit jak root, tak běžný uživatel.
