## [Methods](#Methods)

## [void Push(dict properties)](#void_Push%28dict_properties%29)

Send stream information to the remote device.

If the assistant is in the "active" state, this method uses BASS\_Modify\_Source to update the existing source on the remote device instead of adding a new one with BASS\_Add\_Source.

[**dict properties**](#dict)

[**array{byte} Metadata \[ISO only\]**](#array_byte_)

See Metadata property.

[**dict QoS \[ISO only\]**](#dict~2)

See QoS property.

[**object Device \[ISO only, State=local only\]**](#object)

Push to a specific device. Device must be connected and with an active BASS session.

Examples:

[**bluetoothctl**](#bluetoothctl)

> assistant.push <assistant>

## [Properties](#Properties)

**"requesting"**

remote device requires Broadcast\_Code

**"active"**
