**int gnutls\_pkcs11\_token\_get\_mechanism(const char * url, unsigned int idx, unsigned long * mechanism);**

[const char * url](#const)

should contain a PKCS 11 URL

[unsigned int idx](#unsigned)

The index of the mechanism

[unsigned long * mechanism](#unsigned~2)

The PKCS **11** mechanism ID

# [DESCRIPTION](#DESCRIPTION)

This function will return the names of the supported mechanisms by the token. It should be called with an increasing index until it return GNUTLS\_E\_REQUESTED\_DATA\_NOT\_AVAILABLE.

# [RETURNS](#RETURNS)

**GNUTLS\_E\_SUCCESS** (0) on success or a negative error code on error.
