[gnutls\_privkey\_t privkey](#gnutls_privkey_t)

a public key of type **gnutls\_privkey\_t**

[const gnutls\_x509\_spki\_t spki](#const)

a SubjectPublicKeyInfo structure of type **gnutls\_privkey\_spki\_t**

[unsigned int flags](#unsigned)

must be zero

This function will set the public key information. The provided *spki* must be initialized.

# [RETURNS](#RETURNS)

On success, **GNUTLS\_E\_SUCCESS** (0) is returned, otherwise a negative error value.
