gnutls\_srp\_base64\_decode - API function

# [SYNOPSIS](#SYNOPSIS)

**#include <gnutls/gnutls.h>**

**int gnutls\_srp\_base64\_decode(const gnutls\_datum\_t * b64\_data, char * result, size\_t * result\_size);**

# [ARGUMENTS](#ARGUMENTS)

[const gnutls\_datum\_t * b64\_data](#const)

contain the encoded data

[char * result](#char)

the place where decoded data will be copied

[size\_t * result\_size](#size_t)

holds the size of the result

# [DESCRIPTION](#DESCRIPTION)

This function will decode the given encoded data, using the base64 encoding found in libsrp.

Note that *b64\_data* should be null terminated.

Warning! This base64 encoding is not the "standard" encoding, so do not use it for non-SRP purposes.

# [RETURNS](#RETURNS)

**GNUTLS\_E\_SHORT\_MEMORY\_BUFFER** if the buffer given is not long enough, or 0 on success.
