**int gnutls\_x509\_crq\_get\_dn\_oid(gnutls\_x509\_crq\_t crq, unsigned indx, void * oid, size\_t * sizeof\_oid);**

# [ARGUMENTS](#ARGUMENTS)

[gnutls\_x509\_crq\_t crq](#gnutls_x509_crq_t)

should contain a gnutls\_x509\_crq\_t type

[unsigned indx](#unsigned)

Specifies which DN OID to get. Use (0) to get the first one.

[void * oid](#void)

a pointer to a structure to hold the name (may be **NULL**)

[size\_t * sizeof\_oid](#size_t)

initially holds the size of *oid*

# [DESCRIPTION](#DESCRIPTION)

This function will extract the requested OID of the name of the certificate request subject, specified by the given index.

# [RETURNS](#RETURNS)

**GNUTLS\_E\_SHORT\_MEMORY\_BUFFER** if the provided buffer is not long enough, and in that case the * *sizeof\_oid* will be updated with the required size. On success 0 is returned.
