**int gnutls\_certificate\_set\_x509\_crl\_file(gnutls\_certificate\_credentials\_t res, const char * crlfile, gnutls\_x509\_crt\_fmt\_t type);**

# [ARGUMENTS](#ARGUMENTS)

[gnutls\_certificate\_credentials\_t res](#gnutls_certificate_credentials_t)

is a **gnutls\_certificate\_credentials\_t** type.

[const char * crlfile](#const)

is a file containing the list of verified CRLs (DER or PEM list)

[gnutls\_x509\_crt\_fmt\_t type](#gnutls_x509_crt_fmt_t)

is PEM or DER

# [DESCRIPTION](#DESCRIPTION)

This function adds the trusted CRLs in order to verify client or server certificates. In case of a client this is not required to be called if the certificates are not verified using **gnutls\_certificate\_verify\_peers2()**. This function may be called multiple times.
