**int gnutls\_x509\_aki\_get\_id(gnutls\_x509\_aki\_t aki, gnutls\_datum\_t * id);**

# [ARGUMENTS](#ARGUMENTS)

[gnutls\_x509\_aki\_t aki](#gnutls_x509_aki_t)

The authority key ID

[gnutls\_datum\_t * id](#gnutls_datum_t)

Will hold the identifier

# [DESCRIPTION](#DESCRIPTION)

This function will return the key identifier as stored in the *aki* type. The identifier should be treated as constant.

# [RETURNS](#RETURNS)

On success, **GNUTLS\_E\_SUCCESS** (0) is returned, **GNUTLS\_E\_REQUESTED\_DATA\_NOT\_AVAILABLE** if the index is out of bounds, otherwise a negative error value.
