**int gnutls\_x509\_crl\_get\_authority\_key\_gn\_serial(gnutls\_x509\_crl\_t crl, unsigned int seq, void * alt, size\_t * alt\_size, unsigned int * alt\_type, void * serial, size\_t * serial\_size, unsigned int * critical);**

# [ARGUMENTS](#ARGUMENTS)

[gnutls\_x509\_crl\_t crl](#gnutls_x509_crl_t)

should contain a **gnutls\_x509\_crl\_t** type

[unsigned int seq](#unsigned)

specifies the sequence number of the alt name (0 for the first one, 1 for the second etc.)

[void * alt](#void)

is the place where the alternative name will be copied to

[size\_t * alt\_size](#size_t)

holds the size of alt.

[unsigned int * alt\_type](#unsigned~2)

holds the type of the alternative name (one of gnutls\_x509\_subject\_alt\_name\_t).

[void * serial](#void~2)

buffer to store the serial number (may be null)

[size\_t * serial\_size](#size_t~2)

Holds the size of the serial field (may be null)

[unsigned int * critical](#unsigned~3)

will be non-zero if the extension is marked as critical (may be null)

# [DESCRIPTION](#DESCRIPTION)

This function will return the X.509 authority key identifier when stored as a general name (authorityCertIssuer) and serial number.

Because more than one general names might be stored  
*seq* can be used as a counter to request them all until **GNUTLS\_E\_REQUESTED\_DATA\_NOT\_AVAILABLE** is returned.
