**int gnutls\_x509\_crq\_get\_attribute\_info(gnutls\_x509\_crq\_t crq, unsigned indx, void * oid, size\_t * sizeof\_oid);**

# [ARGUMENTS](#ARGUMENTS)

[gnutls\_x509\_crq\_t crq](#gnutls_x509_crq_t)

should contain a **gnutls\_x509\_crq\_t** type

[unsigned indx](#unsigned)

Specifies which attribute number to get. Use (0) to get the first one.

[void * oid](#void)

a pointer to a structure to hold the OID

[size\_t * sizeof\_oid](#size_t)

initially holds the maximum size of *oid* , on return holds actual size of *oid* .

# [DESCRIPTION](#DESCRIPTION)

This function will return the requested attribute OID in the certificate, and the critical flag for it. The attribute OID will be stored as a string in the provided buffer. Use **gnutls\_x509\_crq\_get\_attribute\_data()** to extract the data.

If the buffer provided is not long enough to hold the output, then * *sizeof\_oid* is updated and **GNUTLS\_E\_SHORT\_MEMORY\_BUFFER** will be returned.

# [RETURNS](#RETURNS)

On success, **GNUTLS\_E\_SUCCESS** (0) is returned, otherwise a negative error code in case of an error. If your have reached the last extension available **GNUTLS\_E\_REQUESTED\_DATA\_NOT\_AVAILABLE** will be returned.
