**unsigned gnutls\_x509\_crt\_check\_ip(gnutls\_x509\_crt\_t cert, const unsigned char * ip, unsigned int ip\_size, unsigned int flags);**

# [ARGUMENTS](#ARGUMENTS)

[gnutls\_x509\_crt\_t cert](#gnutls_x509_crt_t)

should contain an gnutls\_x509\_crt\_t type

[const unsigned char * ip](#const)

A pointer to the raw IP address

[unsigned int ip\_size](#unsigned)

the number of bytes in ip (4 or 16)

[unsigned int flags](#unsigned~2)

should be zero

# [DESCRIPTION](#DESCRIPTION)

This function will check if the IP allowed IP addresses in the certificate's subject alternative name match the provided IP address.

# [RETURNS](#RETURNS)

non-zero for a successful match, and zero on failure.
