**int gnutls\_x509\_crt\_list\_import2(gnutls\_x509\_crt\_t \** certs, unsigned int * size, const gnutls\_datum\_t * data, gnutls\_x509\_crt\_fmt\_t format, unsigned int flags);**

[gnutls\_x509\_crt\_t \** certs](#gnutls_x509_crt_t)

Will hold the parsed certificate list.

[unsigned int * size](#unsigned)

It will contain the size of the list.

[const gnutls\_datum\_t * data](#const)

The PEM encoded certificate.

[gnutls\_x509\_crt\_fmt\_t format](#gnutls_x509_crt_fmt_t)

One of DER or PEM.

[unsigned int flags](#unsigned~2)

must be (0) or an OR'd sequence of gnutls\_certificate\_import\_flags.

# [DESCRIPTION](#DESCRIPTION)

This function will convert the given PEM encoded certificate list to the native gnutls\_x509\_crt\_t format. The output will be stored in *certs* which will be allocated and initialized.

If the Certificate is PEM encoded it should have a header of "X509 CERTIFICATE", or "CERTIFICATE".

To deinitialize *certs* , you need to deinitialize each crt structure independently, and use **gnutls\_free()** at *certs* .
