The \fBeconf_getExtValue\fR() function searches for the specified \fIkey\fR within the given \fIgroup\fR in the parsed configuration file structure \fIkey_file\fR\&. If the key is found, the function returns a pointer to an econf_ext_value structure via the \fIvalue\fR
argument\&.

The \fIgroup\fR parameter may be \fBNULL\fR or an empty string for keys in the global section\&.
