.SH "DESCRIPTION"
.sp
Deprecated command kept for scripts written against nvme\-cli versions older than 3\&.0\&. Exactly one of \fI\-\-import\fR, \fI\-\-export\fR, or \fI\-\-revoke\fR must be given; based on which mode is selected, this alias translates the command into the equivalent new \fIkeys\fR plugin subcommand and forwards to it:
.sp
.RS 4
.ie n \{\
\h'-04'\(bu\h'+03'\c
.\}
.el \{\
.sp -1
.IP \(bu 2.3
.\}
\fI\-\-import\fR
translates to
\fBnvme-keys-import\fR(1), forwarding
\fI\-\-keyring\fR
and
\fI\-\-keyfile\fR\&.

.ie n \{\

\fI\-\-export\fR
translates to
\fBnvme-keys-export\fR(1), forwarding
\fI\-\-keyring\fR
and
\fI\-\-keyfile\fR\&.

\fI\-\-revoke=\fR
translates to
\fBnvme-keys-revoke\fR(1), forwarding
\fI\-\-keyring\fR
and
\fI\-\-keytype\fR, with
\fI\fR
passed as
\fI\-\-identity\fR\&.
.RE
.sp
Only the options relevant to the selected mode are meaningful; e\&.g\&. \fI\-\-keytype\fR has no effect with \fI\-\-import\fR or \fI\-\-export\fR since the new \fIimport\fR/\fIexport\fR subcommands no longer take a key type\&. This command does not derive or insert a TLS PSK from a configured PSK \(em use \fBnvme-keys-gen-tls-psk\fR(1) or \fBnvme-keys-insert-tls-psk\fR(1) for that\&.
.sp
New scripts should call \fInvme keys import\fR, \fInvme keys export\fR, or \fInvme keys revoke\fR directly instead\&. This alias prints a deprecation warning on stderr and may be removed in a future release\&.
.SH "OPTIONS"
.PP
\-k , \-\-keyring=
.RS 4
Name of the keyring to import into, export from, or revoke from\&. Default is
\fI\&.nvme\fR\&.
.RE
.PP
\-t , \-\-keytype=
.RS 4
Type of the key to revoke\&. Only used with
\fI\-\-revoke\fR\&. Default is
\fIpsk\fR\&.
.RE
.PP
\-f , \-\-keyfile=
.RS 4
File to read the keys from (\fI\-\-import\fR) or write the keys to (\fI\-\-export\fR) instead of stdin/stdout\&.
.RE
.PP
\-i, \-\-import
.RS 4
Import keys in bulk; see
\fBnvme-keys-import\fR(1)\&.
.RE
.PP
\-e, \-\-export
.RS 4
Export all keys from the keyring; see
\fBnvme-keys-export\fR(1)\&.
.RE
.PP
\-r , \-\-revoke=
.RS 4
Revoke the key stored under
\fI\fR
from the keyring; see
\fBnvme-keys-revoke\fR(1)\&.
.RE
.SH "GLOBAL OPTIONS"
.sp
The following options are defined at the top\-level nvme command and are available to this subcommand:
.PP
\-\-dry\-run
.RS 4
Print the command that would be executed, but do not actually execute it\&.
.RE
.PP
\-\-no\-ioctl\-probing
.RS 4
Disable probing for 64\-bit IOCTL support\&.
.RE
.PP
\-\-no\-retries
.RS 4
Disable retry logic on transient errors\&.
.RE
.PP
\-o , \-\-output\-format=
.RS 4
Set the reporting format to
\fInormal\fR,
\fItabular, \*(Aqjson\fR, or
\fIbinary\fR\&. Only one output format may be used at a time\&.
.RE
.PP
\-\-output\-format\-version=
.RS 4
Select the output format version\&. Version
\fI1\fR
uses the original field naming, while version
\fI2\fR
(default) provides more consistent and script\-friendly field names\&. Other versions are rejected\&.
.RE
.PP
\-\-quiet
.RS 4
Suppress informational messages\&. Errors are still reported, and \-\-quiet cancels any \-\-verbose for the library log level\&.
.RE
.PP
\-\-set\-options=[,\&...]
.RS 4
Set libnvme library options for this invocation\&. Supported keys are
\fIforce\-4k\fR,
\fImi\-probe\-enabled\fR,
\fItest\-base\-dir\fR
and
\fItest\-sysfs\-dir\fR\&.
.RE
.PP
\-\-timeout=
.RS 4
Set the timeout for the command in milliseconds\&.
\fIinfinite\fR
or
\fI\-1\fR
waits without a time limit (0xffffffff)\&.
.RE
.PP
\-v, \-\-verbose
.RS 4
Increase the level of detail in the output\&. May be specified multiple times to further increase verbosity\&.
.RE
.sp
These options can also be set as machine\-wide defaults in nvme\-cli\&.conf(5)\&. A command\-line flag always overrides the file\&.
