libnvmf\_config\_conn\_get\_transport(9) libnvme API manual libnvmf\_config\_conn\_get\_transport(9)

# [NAME](#NAME)

libnvmf\_config\_conn\_get\_transport - a connection's transport.

# [SYNOPSIS](#SYNOPSIS)

**const char * libnvmf\_config\_conn\_get\_transport** **(const struct libnvmf\_config\_conn \*conn );**

# [ARGUMENTS](#ARGUMENTS)

[conn](#conn)

the resolved connection

# [DESCRIPTION](#DESCRIPTION)

Addressing is exposed as raw strings, not a TID: the configuration is a human interface and traddr/host-traddr may legitimately name a host, while TID construction rejects one. Resolve first, then build a TID with **libnvmf\_tid\_from\_fields** + **libnvmf\_tid\_set\_identity**.

# [RETURN](#RETURN)

borrowed string, valid while the owning configuration is alive.
